Neil Cook was born in 1919, on a farm in Marengo, Saskatchewan. During his time in the Royal Canadian Air Force, he was temporarily stationed in Vancouver and eventually settled there after the war. He has four children and has had a variety of fascinating careers in his lifetime: farmer; lawyer; high-flying real estate developer; creator of a chain of private-care facilities. He moved on to the oil business and was named a billionaire by Barron’s magazine. He was also a radio host and most recently, a novelist. Now, in his 100th year, Neil enjoys reading, gardening, playing bridge and spending time with his family. Watch for his next books!
